How It Works
1
Queue Solo
Each player enters the queue individually. There are no teams — every queue entry represents a single player competing for themselves.
2
Match Start
Once the configured minimum player count is reached, the match begins and all queued players are teleported into the arena.
3
Border Shrinks
The world border gradually shrinks over time on a configurable schedule, forcing players out of the edges and into combat with each other.
4
Last One Standing Wins
The match continues until only one player remains alive. That player is declared the winner and receives the solo victory reward.
Features
PvP Grace Period
A configurable window at the start of each match during which PvP is disabled. This gives players time to loot and land safely before combat begins.
Elytra System
Every player receives an elytra at spawn, allowing for a safe and controlled landing from the sky. No more taking fall damage before the match even starts.
Shrinking Border
The world border shrinks on a fully configurable schedule — control how fast it closes in, when it starts moving, and what size it shrinks to.
Match Timers
Set a maximum match length to prevent games from running indefinitely. When the timer expires, the remaining player count is evaluated and a winner is determined.
Victory Reward
The last player standing receives a configurable solo victory reward. Define exactly what winners earn for claiming the top spot.
Configuration
All Solo mode settings — including PvP grace period duration, border shrink schedule, match timers, elytra behavior, and victory rewards — are managed ingame-settings.yml.
See the Game Settings configuration reference for a full breakdown of every available option.
Solo mode supports unlimited simultaneous matches — multiple solo games can run at the same time on the same server. Each match is fully independent with its own border, timer, and player pool.
